Have you ever seen the cartoon or comic strip where the character has a permanent raincloud over his head? Maybe you’ve seen Pig-Pen from the Peanuts cartoons. He is in a cloud of dust and dirt. Some people believe in Murphy’s Law – “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”.
I believe it would do us all good to sit down and read Psalm 23.
Some people constantly feel haunted by their past. They are in a cloud of dust like Pig-Pen. Some people feel like nothing ever goes right. “When it rains, it pours.”
Ask the Lord to be your Shepherd. Ask him to be your guide. When He is the Captain of your ship, this is what He promises:
“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6
I want His love, goodness and mercy to follow me.
