We woke up one morning with a lot of snow in our driveway! Our snowblower wasn’t working properly. It would have been a struggle to get rid of all that snow with just a shovel! Our neighbour came by with his giant tractor/snowblower and cleared out the driveway.
I think that’s a great illustration of the way God is… He is so good at clearing our paths… making rough places smooth and crooked places straight.
Some of us are still out there trying to do it all on our own with our little shovel. Let Him take your burden. Let Him bear the load. Let Him clear the way.
Matthew 11- 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
