I met Steve when we were in Grade 1. For me, it was love at first sight! I remember giving him a large valentine on Valentine’s Day when we were in elementary school. I remember pretending to be married to Steve Clarke – I would pretend to be April Clarke, married to Steve Clarke. (I think April was a character on the soap opera “The Edge of Night” that I used to like… hahaha)

Unfortunately, Steve didn’t share the same feelings that I did until much later – around a decade later. Men are slow, aren’t they?

It’s difficult when you love someone and they don’t love you back.

The wonderful news is that when you love God, He always loves you back. In fact, He loved you first. He loves you when you don’t even deserve His love. God’s love for you is deep and without limit!

Ephesians 3 – 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

The other good news is that Steve and I got married on July 8, 1995… almost 25 years ago! God is so good. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband who loves me very much.
