On reality TV shows, only one person can be the winner. Only one person can be the “American Idol”. Only one can win “The Voice”. Only one can be “The Biggest Loser”.
Only one team can win the Stanley Cup or the Super Bowl.
Only one can be given the title “The Sexiest Man Alive”. Only one can be crowned “Miss America”.
Only one can be named the Prime Minister or the President.
What about you don’t make the cut? What about you don’t even make the Top 10? What about your team doesn’t make the finals or the playoffs? What about no one votes for you?
In the world’s eyes, you may be considered a loser… a failure. You may have caused many people to be very disappointed. You may have disappointed yourself.
This type of thinking is not a Godly type of thinking. God wants His creation to know that we can ALL be winners! We can ALL receive His approval! We can ALL receive His love and grace. We can ALL receive a crown of life.
All we have to do is accept God’s gift of salvation. When we’ve done that, we’ve won the greatest prize ever – eternal life!
Don’t be disappointed with your life! If you have Jesus, you have everything!
2 Timothy 4 – 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.
