Have you ever had the experience where someone called you to do something and you were not the first one asked? Maybe you were way down on the list… and they called you because they were stuck.
I think we treat God like that at times. When all else fails, we turn to Him.
We should turn to God first. No matter what situation we face, we need to pray about it. We need to trust Him with it. If you need answers, ask Him for guidance. Read the bible and it will help you make the right choices.
Don’t put God off… the earlier you start to serve Him, the better. Let Him help you choose your career in life… let Him help you choose your spouse… Life would be smoother, I believe, if we allowed Him to help us make the right choices in the beginning, rather than having to ask Him to get us out of the tangles we get ourselves trapped in!
If you’re in a tangled mess, don’t despair! God is faithful. He will help you. This is a brand new day. Choose Him today. I love this passage:
Lamentations 3 – 22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Let God be your first choice. Don’t make Him your last resort. God bless you today!
