Have you sunken to the lowest point you’ve ever been?
Have you hit rock bottom?
Is there darkness all around you so that you can’t seem to see the light of day?
If you’ve hit an all-time low, you need to know that God’s arm is not too short to save you. He can reach you right where you are.
If you’ve hit rock bottom, you need to be encouraged to look up! God can lift you up out of the miry pit… that deep pit of despair. He can give you a reason to live again. He can give you joy again. He can give you a reason to rejoice. Call out to Him.
If darkness seems to have swallowed you up, remember that His light always overcomes the darkness. No darkness is too deep for the light of God to pierce and dispel.
Remember that He is God. Nothing is too difficult for Him.
Psalm 40 –
1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.
