Competition is great in a game. Teams play against each other to win a medal or a trophy. They would like to become the champions in their league.
In my opinion, church denominations should not be in competition with each other. People within a congregation shouldn’t be competing with one another either. If we call ourselves Christians, we should all be on the same team, shouldn’t we?
As brothers and sisters in this great Christian family, let’s do our best to encourage each other and shine the light of Jesus in our world. Let’s love one another despite our differences. Let’s focus on worshipping Him. Let’s do our best living for Him every day!
1 John 4:10-11 – 10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. 12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
