During the Olympics, people were on the edge of their seat watching various hockey games. The teams were well matched. No one was guaranteed a victory – they fought hard to win.
Some of you are in the heat of the battle. Stay standing. Don’t ever give up. Even when the opponent seems to be winning, don’t lose faith.
Find comfort and that extra boost of strength by standing on God’s promises from Romans 8:
31 If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
