The clocks have gone ahead! Spring is coming! Many of you are done with the snow now and would like to put your winter coats in storage! There are mounds of snow all around you.
In a few weeks time, the temperature will rise. The water will start dripping off your roof. The snow banks will be all melted. Don’t you wish you could wake up tomorrow morning and all the snow would be gone?
Maybe, a mountain of snow near your house is not a great concern for you. Maybe you have another kind of mountain in your path that needs to disappear.
I think you will find comfort in this passage from Psalm 97:
3 Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side. 4 His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles. 5 The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.
Let the Lord fight your battle. Give it all to Him. Your mountains will melt.
